Temple Emet will again participate in Operation PB & J in concert with Congregation B’nai David. Last year we stuffed 100 kits and had a great day assembling the sandwiches and supplies for each bag. It was a really well attended event. The bags were distributed by a few of our members to the homeless population living downtown LA in tent city encampments. The homeless were very happy to receive these needed supplies and sustenance.

We need your help again this year. With the help of our religious school and volunteers from Temple Emet we will stuff bags on Wednesday, March 8^th. Beginning at 4:30 pm in the Social Hall.

Please let us know if you can contribute to support this charitable activity. We are asking for monetary contributions and/or the following items:

Peanut butter

Jelly

Sandwich baggies

Brown lunch bags

Loaves of sliced bread

Oranges ( cuties)

Water bottles

Each completed kit will include a sandwich, fruit, water bottle, personal hygiene item, etc.. We will gratefully accept any amount of money you can donate.
